individuals who had been entirely under the authority and responsibility of the State had died from multiple injuries and fractures, in particular of the skull and ribs, inflicted by truncheons and other blunt

A subsequent medical report certified that the applicant had bruises and grazes caused by a blunt instrument and thoracic concussion. On 12 April 2001 he was declared severely disabled.

These injuries were caused as a result of traumas to the indicated body parts by a blunt firm object having a narrow, possibly elongated surface: cannot be considered as causing damage to health. 3.3.

The said injuries resulted from blunt force trauma...

The experts said that the injury to the applicant’s head had been caused by a blow with or against a blunt object.

The remaining injuries had been inflicted as a result of an impact with a blunt hard object.

They had been caused by blunt objects or by impact with them.

All of the injuries had been caused by blunt trauma. The possibility that the applicant had sustained the injuries when he had fallen could not be excluded. 36.

The medical expert concluded that the injuries had been inflicted by hard blunt objects. 15.

In sum, the “Visit summary” report found that the “patient suffered a blunt trauma of the throat two weeks ago”. The medial expert reports provided by the applicant 35.

According to report no. 689, he had bruises on his head and face, caused by a hard blunt object. The injuries were classified as light harm to health. 12.

It was noted that “[based on the available materials] it cannot be excluded that these injuries ... were caused on 16   October 2003 by a blow (blows) from a narrowly-shaped hard blunt object ...

possibility that the applicant’s injuries – which were described as not meeting the criteria for light damage to health – had been caused in the manner described in the decision (ibid.), as well as by blunt

The expert considered the injuries to be minor and that they had been inflicted by blunt, solid objects during a period of between three to six days before the examination.

According to the document, the cause of his death had been a “...blunt penetrating wound of the left frontal region of the head... received during the shooting by the federal military forces...” 12.

The conclusion of the expert reads as follows: "The oval-shaped bruise on Layijov’s neck, caused by a hard blunt object, its time of infliction corresponds to 17 March 2005, the time initially indicated

    On 7 January 2014 the applicant had been taken to hospital after scratching himself with a blunt object.
