The application concerns the applicants’ involuntary placement in a clinical infectious diseases hospital on suspicion of Coronavirus infection. The placement was ordered on 8 April 2020 by the Leninskiy District Court of Kemerovo at the request of the chief sanitary doctor of Kemerovo Region. The applicants stayed at the hospital from 9 until 14   April 2020. QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES Has the applicants’ involuntary hospitalisation in the period between 9   and 14   April 2020 been lawful within the meaning of Article   5   §   1   (e) of the Convention? In particular, what was the legal basis for the applicants’ involuntary hospitalisation?
