The applicant, a campaigner against abortion and stem-cell research, published on-line critical statements on stem-cell research citing the name of a professor at the Bonn University. He referred to experiments on humans under the Nazi regime. Furthermore the applicant distributed leaflets with his statements. The domestic courts found a violation of the professor’s personality rights due to the reference to the Nazi regime and imposed 30 daily fines of 15   euros each on the applicant.   QUESTION tO THE PARTIES Has there been a violation of the applicant’s right to freedom of expression, in particular his right to impart information and ideas contrary to Article 10 of the Convention?
