She claimed that she and X could live together at her parents’ house, arguing that her mother stayed at home and was willing to help care for X and that she and her mother were also willing to accept help

It further held that the requirement to meet the child only in the presence of her mother was not in line with family legislation and was against the interests of the child.

  The applicants were held at gun point in their room while the servicemen conducted a thorough search of the premises which took about one hour.

[Mr Zegan's] head injury occurred as a consequence of his being hit with or hitting himself against a blunt object with a large, flat surface, for example, as a result of his falling and hitting his head

Accordingly, the Court held unanimously that there had been a violation of Article 2 in respect of Apti Isigov and Zelimkhan Umkhanov.
